The continet of Japan is in Asia.Β Asia originated from the Ancient Greek word αΌˆΟƒΞ―Ξ±, first attributed to Herodotus (about 440 BCE).

Japan is in the northern hemisphere. We have have 2 hemispheres that divide the world. The Northern hemisphere and northern hemisphere.

The capital city of Japanese is Tokyo. The Edo Period lasted for nearly 260 years until the Meiji Restoration in 1868, when the Tokugawa Shogunate ended and imperial rule was restored. The Emperor moved to Edo, which was renamed Tokyo. Thus, Tokyo became the capital of Japan. And that is why Tokyo id the capital of Japan.Β 
The population of Japan is 126,050,804 and is on going.
The most widely spoken language in Japan is Japanese. The people all so talkΒ hiragana, katakana and kanji.
Japanese money is called Japanese yen. An interesting thing about that is 100 U.S. Dollar = 10,494.5000 Japanese Yen.

A connection that Australia has with Japan is. Japanese traditional food were adjusted into Australian lives. Traditional Japanese food like sushi, wagashi and bento boxes were all liked upon in Australia and was taken in almost immediately. We have a connection with Japanese we give then some of our food and we get some of them.
